V. G. Siddhartha Hegde (1959 - 2019) .He was born in chikkamagaluru,
karnataka. He was the founder of CCD and served as its chairman and managing director.He was the son-in-law of S. M. Krishna, the former Chief Minister of Karnataka

MONDAY, JULY 29: CCD OWNER GOES MISSING

    5:28 PM: Last seen on CCTV

   6:30 PM: Asked driver to stop car near river

   8:00 PM: Driver calls Siddhartha after 90 minutes

WEDNESDAY, JULY 31: SIDDHARTHA'S BODY FOUND FROM RIVER 

6:30 AM: Body recovered from river

After going missing on the evening of 29 July 2019, his body was found at the netravathi river on 31 July 2019.

The body had washed ashore near Ullal and was fished out by local fishermen.

Friends and relatives confirmed that the body is of Siddhartha. The body has been kept at Wenlock Hospital for the autopsy.

It will be handed over to Siddhartha family and taken to Chikkamgaluru for the last rites. The body will be kept for homage by the public at Chikkamgaluru and the last rites will be performed at Siddharatha native village in the Coffee district.
